Pensoft team headed to the 2026 World Biodiversity Forum

03 June 2026

Pensoft will be joining the global biodiversity science community at the 4th World Biodiversity Forum, taking place in Davos, Switzerland, from 14 to 19 June 2026. Held under the theme "Leading Transformation Together", this year's forum will bring together science, arts, society, and business across generations to build the leadership and networks which are essential for the pursuit of efficient biodiversity protection and resilience.

Attendees are invited to visit Pensoft’s booth throughout the week for in-person conversations about the latest in scholarly publishing, communication and technology development.

Pensoft's founder and CEO, Prof. Lyubomir Penev, will be present on-site. The Pensoft team will also be delivering two presentations during the forum:

EU projects at the booth

Beyond the presentations, Pensoft's stand will also spotlight several EU Horizon-funded projects tackling the gap between biodiversity science and policy. Through its role as an active consortium partner in the projects BioAgora, OBSGESSION, B-Cubed and OneStop Pensoft brings decades of hands-on experience in science communication and dissemination, stakeholder engagement and data management. Attendees will also have the chance to learn more about the policy-focused EU projects represented at the booth such as CO-OP4CBD and RESPIN.

While at the booth, visitors can further explore Pensoft's extensive open-access journal portfolio and learn more about the ARPHA platform, the company's end-to-end scholarly publishing solution.

Finally, in recognition of scientific excellence, Pensoft will be presenting an award for the best oral presentation at the forum. The awardee will receive a complimentary publication in a Pensoft journal of their choice.
