Molecular phylogeny for 17 species of Hiptage and two Neotropical outgroups based on ITS sequences. Bayesian posterior probability (PP) and MP bootstrap values (BS) are showed above branches as PP/BS (only shown if BS > 50%). H. incurvatum was shown in grey. The red, blue, black clades indicate reflexed petals, erect petals, and unknown, respectively. Inserted photos indicate petal-reflexed flowers (red branches) and petal-plat flowers (blue branches).
